During the conference, a number of thematically oriented workshops will be organised. All conference sessions will be held in a hybrid mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Invited Speakers<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prof. Agata Savary<\/strong>, University of Paris-Saclay<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prof. Svetla Koeva<\/strong>, Institute for Bulgarian Language, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prof. Cvetana Krstev<\/strong>, JeRTeh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Workshops<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Named-entity recognition (NER)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corpus Query Language (CQL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corpus analysis (TXM and other tools)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract submission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstracts are invited for 20-minute presentations, followed by a 10-minute discussion, on any of the following topics, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IT processing of South Slavic languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital corpora of South Slavic languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language resources for South Slavic languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language technologies for South Slavic languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grammar and lexicon of South Slavic languages \u200b\u200bin the context of NLP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artificial intelligence, language models and processing of South Slavic languages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital humanities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstracts may be written in English or in any South Slavic language, and should not exceed 400 words, including examples and figures. They should have 2.5 cm or 1 inch margins and be written in a font size not smaller than 12 pt. The abstracts, including authors\u2019 name, affiliation and email address should be sent as a doc(x) or pdf file to <a href=\"mailto:judig@jerteh.rs\">judig@jerteh.rs<\/a> till <strong><s>31 May 2024<\/s><\/strong> <strong>21 June 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important dates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract submission deadline: <strong><s>31 May 2024<\/s><\/strong> <strong>21 June 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notification of acceptance: <strong><s>1 July 2024<\/s><\/strong> <strong>15 July 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration: <strong>September \u2013 October 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conference dates: <strong>21\u201323 November 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Registration fee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regular: 70 euro<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduced: 35 euro (PhD students, scholars from war and conflict zones, accompanying persons)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registration fee includes the conference pack, refreshments, welcome reception and the conference dinner.
